Description
Sylvie Brett had arrived in Chicago three months earlier with her daughter Mackenzie Brett, however no one at the firehouse knows about Mackenzie's existence, however all that changes when something happens to Mackenzie. Matt Casey began having feelings for Sylvie Brett within weeks of her starting at Station 51 but always felt like she was keeping something from him. When Matt finds out about Mackenzie he begins to realize how tough Sylvie life have been but he also wants to be the one who helps her through the good and bad times. Sylvie however is scared to trust another guy with her and her daughter after Harrison left them alone to survive, can Matt convince her that they should be together and that he won't ever leave Sylvie and Mackenzie.
