Prologue

This story will be a complete rewrite of Elkwood's Curse. It will have some of the same aspects as Elkwood's Curse and also more in-depth about Wren (formerly Mackenzie) and their relations with the people that surround them. I am going to do my best to add more horror to this story, and make it a very interesting read. I will also do my best to make this story enjoyable! And I'll also attempt to make a good description...T^T

A child of magical capabilities and mysterious past, a talented toymaker with questionable motives, a mysterious entity of ancient times with power over water, three brothers from the first star, a fluffy big familiar fighting to keep her other half safe from harm, and the prophecy from a young teenage girl with future sight.
After the return of an old friend, Wren is confronted with a series of strange dreams...while they are awake, and the greatest toymaker in London targeting them once again with possibly sinister motives fueled by his hatred of the returned friend. Things only go from bad to worse as Wren's fifteenth birthday creeps closer and closer, and three creatures finding their way to Wren's unfindable home.
From the threat of becoming another victim, to the threat of losing the freedom they had fought so hard for, to the lateness of their father's return, to the disappearance of a dear friend, and the possible rebirth of an ancient curse, Wren is forced into an unlikely alliance between themself, and the ones who have hurt them the most. And to top it off, a monster scorned by a brother they've never met, comes to try to take their life, but a unlikely foe saves Wren's life?

But what if the danger of the curse could be prevented by the return of a dead god?
