You recently left your abusive household in order to put an end to your issues. A new beginning, a new you, and a new everything. You moved into an apartment that was small but livable and pretty lovely. Your next-door neighbor appeared to be quite helpful and polite, yet he carried a deep and obsessive addiction within him. It wasn't something he openly expressed, but it dominated his every thought and movement. Some may call it stalking, but he saw it as a sort of love, although a cold and distant one.
