We Are the Wild chapter 1

The diplomatic party Janick Gers is traveling with are waylaid by bandits, and he is the only survivor. Wandering in the forest, he is found by two hunters and persuaded to accompany them. Taken to their remote home deep in the wilderness, Janick grows increasingly mystified by the odd behavior and secretiveness of the men living there even as he grows close to one of them.
