No matter how busy life got, Vivian and Richard Ashton always made time for reading bedtime stories to their daughter, River. For years, they had been telling her wild, adventurous tales but River was too young to fully understand them. One night, tragedy strikes and River is left all alone. With a 10 year time jump, River is now sixteen, questioning what really happened to her parents. When she happens upon the stories they used to tell her as a child, not only does she realize it was about them, but her parents seemed to have left behind one main message for her: find out the truth!
