Chapter One

In this historical fantasy you'll follow the adventures of Ania and Lyra who have grown up fairly isolated in their small village. But as rumors spread of the bond they share and Ania's unique features eluded to in old folk lore they are forced to learn how to survive in a highly political society. As Banshees curse the land and plague the valley their new journey is not off to a good start. Finding allies and showing everyone they can be trusted will be one of the hardest tasks they face, not to mention romance. Can Ania and her wolf companion change how the world sees them and the curse that has ravaged the land for centuries? Or will they fail and the vicious cycle continue to repeat itself?
