Emma Levine feels like that song basically describes her past with Zayn Malik. She loved him. He knew it. She encouraged him to try out for X-Factor. He took her advice. She watched every episode and voted for him and his band. He wasn't smart enough to realize how amazing she was. She realized that she needed to move on. Emma left Bradford and went to America, where she turned to drinking. A lot. Now Zayn is determined to bring his childhood best friend and lifetime crush back to the person she used to be. What does Emma think about this? She hopes seeing her face gives him hell.
