Author's Note

Jamila and her dad, Joey, were back in Texas visiting family and friends when a huge epidemic broke out throughout the country and people are getting infected left, right and center. It is up to Jamila, her best friend, Paisley, her best friend's mum, Nirvana, and Joey's job to get themselves, and any other people they come across who isn't infected, to get to the quarantine zone in Maine.
