From the perspective of a 13-year-old eighth grader, this is the story of lessons. Lessons I learned. Lessons I won't let go. Lessons that won't break me but others. There's an end to friends. Lie in belief. Over in lover. And a good goodbye. Here's my story, the start at least. How I became me. I've always wanted to be the friend you can trust and love. Someone you feel you can trust with your secrets, someone who doesn't even have the word betrayal in their vocabulary. Drama can be fun, but losing friends isn't fun. Unless they betray you first. If you're like any set of friends, you have unwritten rules. Such as don't like the same guy as your friends. They are automatically off-limits to you, and you're now disgusted by the thought of dating them. But others. Others don't care. Traitors don't care if they hurt you, you hurt them. They say an eye for an eye makes the world blind that is unless the world is already blind. They say to keep your friends close a you're enemies closer. In my book keep the fake friends and traitors beside you But I say. screw it, he's cute.
