The Lacuna Effect: The impact that ones unfilled spaces and gaps between reality and dreams have on ones identity, purpose and belonging; the plain between reality and lucid dreams. -•-•-•- Everyone dreams. Even if some don't believe they do, or claim they never have, they do. Dreams aren't optional for humans or even animals. We cannot control whether we experience them or not, we cannot control what they mean. Those who claim they never dream, simply lack the willpower to remember them. They're not a chore. Or a curse. Dreams are a privilege. A window into the soul of ourselves and others. There are some out there with the ability to manipulate the course of their dreams. This is called lucid dreaming. Those with this ability can become conscious within their dreams, altering the course of what their subconscious would have decided. It's not common, yet it's not unheard of. What is unknown is the space between. At least, it's unknown to most but me.
