A Reintroduction

I left her in the hands of the man I painfully believe will give her everything she deserves. I hope that in the back of her mind, she'll sometimes think of me. I hope she doesn't let her light dim.

And so he left. And in leaving, took a part I wasn't ready to let go of yet. I hope he hasn't forgotten me. I hope he doesn't let himself fall into the pits of his darkness.
