Chapter 1 - The Meeting In the opening chapter of Voyology, readers are introduced to our main characters, Tony, Cassy, and Catalina. Tony and Cassy, both polygamists, have been happily married for years and are seeking a new member to join their family. On a chance encounter, they meet Catalina, a free-spirited artist, at a local beach in Florida. They are immediately drawn to her beauty and her kind spirit. They share their beliefs about polygamy and the importance of honesty and communication in their relationship. Catalina is intrigued but has never considered such a lifestyle before. The three of them discover a shared love for adventure and the ocean, and they set sail together for a day. While on the boat, Tony and Cassy see a potential new family member in Catalina and express their interest in inviting her to join their family. Catalina is taken aback by the proposal but is impressed by the love and harmony between Tony and Cassy. The encounter ends in a tentative agreement to explore the possibility of forming a polygamist family together. The chapter ends with each character reflecting on the events of the day and wondering what the future holds for them.
