Aurora is exhausted by royal affairs and trusts a potential suitor in an elaborate scheme to escape her esteemed life. She reluctantly agrees to board a vessel to Cairo and assist the prince in his shady dealings, finding herself at sea with a borderline neurotic captain called Kalina. Through her endlessly teasing quarrels with the woman, she finds she's grown rather fond of her. She questions herself and aims to cease these feelings at all costs.
