What if Rhaenyra Targaryen had another love interest?

Mace Baratheon is the second son of Boremund Baratheon, the Lord Paramount of the Stormlands.

Unlike his brother, he is more caring, passionate about studying history, and learned to fight with a sword early on in his youth. He is five and ten when he first sees the Princess at the Heir's Tournament and admired her from afar.

But what he didn't know was that the Princess felt the same way. Their relationship begins to grow as tensions at court get worse for Rhaenyra and she relies on the Baratheon for comfort.
