Book One, Prologue

Sergeant John 'Soap' MacTavish arrives on Pandora together with Captain John Price and Lieutenant Alejandro Vargas to guard xenobotanist Kate Laswell while she researches the strange connections between the fauna and flora of the forest.

An unfortunate encounter with a Thanathor leaves him injured, unarmed, and alone in the Pandoran wilderness. There, he meets Ghost, an infamous Na'vi warrior with a grudge against Humans and by proxy Avatar.

Can they set aside their differences to prevent tragedy or will all be lost in the final battle?
