On a work trip away, with a mission to put his past behind him, Angel Morenos finds himself in Louisiana for real estate, cosplaying a life dedicated to priesthood...Face tattoos and all.

The very last thing he expects is to run into temptation with a voice so soothing it haunts him, spilling secrets only diaries should bare witness to about love and death, she says she must confess because she has no idea what to do next.

This girl, with no real family to run to, sends her sins to the booth, for forgiveness and truth and she knows who she's talking to the moment she hears gossip about a new guy in town. (Normal priests don't walk around with cursive tattoos above their eyebrows.)

So she decides to meet him.

And despite his curiosity to see her undressed, paired with her inability to look away from his frustratingly perfect face, the only thing they can agree on is hate at first sight.
