First time on an island/Meeting trouble

It started about like many years ago. There was a girl. A young girl named y/n. She was abandoned by her parents. Last thing she remembered was being left in a boat in the ocean. And by the next time y/n woke up, she found herself on an island surrounded by monkeys. But before that. The first thing she did was try building a shelter. And when she would explore the island, she would meet monkey's. But one day, y/n became friends with a different kind of monkey. They grew close everyday they saw each other. But one day, y/n decided to find a way off the island. Will she forget about the life she knew growing up, or will she get the chance to see her old friend again?
