Scarlet wasn't supposed to be a runaway. She wasn't the kind to pack up her belongings and just leave.

Or at least that's what the town she had grown up in thought of her.

But what Scarlet also wasn't supposed to do was run into a future which was nothing but greater danger.

After three years across the country, when the time comes to move closer to home, Scarlet, for once, also didn't expect to be knocked down by the ones who had made her run away in the first place.
