Since he was a young dragonet, Beetle has gotten hate about saying he was a male when he was born a female, and the only one who really loved him for who he was is Digger, his brother. Escaping his parent's cruel behaviors, he meets a Seawing Prince named Serpent who shows him Tranquility and Jade Mountain Academy, where some dragons accept you for who you are.
