Everything Sakana Angedis knew was a lie. Following the tragic and unexpected death of her mother, Eryyyn Angedis, the truth about her mother's real occupation and her father's true identity have been revealed. Five years after the Purge and one year after her mother's death, Sakana is struggling to trust the Force and rebuild her connection to it. With the revelation of her own true identity in mind, she is struggling to find her place in the galaxy and fighting to keep the truth buried inside her. When Cal Kestis, another padawan and survivor of the Purge crash lands on Kashyyyk in search of a missing Wookiee Chieftain, her life is turned completely upside down as she decides to aid him on his quest. Sakana hopes that by following Cal she can destroy the Empire and protect Kashyyyk from any further destruction, and in the process come closer to finding her father. Unfortunately for her, she and Cal quickly realize that they got much more than they bargained for.
