He was known as the devil for his sharp tongue and cold heart. Everywhere he went, people would whisper behind his back and give him a wide berth, which suited him just fine. He was keeping his distance from everybody, and he preferred it that way.

Meanwhile, she was known as an angel, a saint even, for her composure and her ability to be kind and understanding of everyone she met. Everyone adored her and she believed that even the devil himself would come to his senses under her warm smile. But that was until the day their paths crossed.
