Author's Note

Hope could not wait to graduate from school and escape from her home. She wanted to escape from her mother who was never satisfied with anything she did, always preferring her older sister over her.

Hope's mother hates their next-door neighbor, Mama Ola, with passion and forbids them from having anything to do with her or her children but things change when Hope and Mama Ola's son, Damilare, accidentally lock themselves in school for hours.

Will the relationship between the two families change?
