Prologue

"Mommy, Ashi is bleeding." Asia said as she came running into the kitchen with blood on her dress from where she wiped her hands on it. Feeling her knees grow weak, Keoni dropped her bag and ran to grab her baby. "Mommy, mommy. Ashi is bleeding!" Asia repeated as Keoni checked her for wounds. Following a hard gulp, Keoni sat Asia down. "Stay here, don't move." She told her.

As Ashton laid cold on the floor in a puddle of blood, Keoni walked in but soon stopped herself at the sight. She stood there in shock. "Oh my God." She managed to say before running to her baby and letting out a heart piercing scream that would soon awake the neighbors.
