The Phantom King has been dead for 200 years, since King Cyrus killed him in the final battle for Merla, though his dark wraiths still hold their grip on the heart of Morcatia. Cyrus lost his life in the aftermath of the battle. In a burst of rage and wild magic his Queen Iza, created five beings of great power. These beings would each take a beast from the land and with their primal spirit, create the queen's legions of Primal Warriors, specially crafted to take the world back from the forces of darkness. After 200 years of war, Iza and humanity have gained some ground, but The Phantom King's influence still rots the world. The war continues in Morcatia.
