Prologue

When Hector Barbossa learned he was to have a child, a daughter, everything in him screamed to give her up and give her away, for a pirate's life is not for young children, especially young girls. But destiny played its hand the very first time he held her and he knew he couldn't part with her, that her eyes which were the colour of the deep ocean, that something in her yearned for the ocean. Something in her yearned for adventure. And how right he had been.
For his daughter, Barbossa's daughter, becomes one of the most feared pirates to ever sail the seas as she serves as her father's first mate aboard the legendary Black Pearl.
But this next adventure when a man named Will Turner comes barrelling into her life is unlike anything she's ever encountered before.
Come along, mates. Come and board the Black Pearl as this adventure unfolds.
