Prologue

Young Princess Emerald of the Grand Seelie Court is sprung into disaster from the day she was born. Her half human, half Seelie nature is rare, her being the only one of her kind, and with it came a horrifying black fog that takes in humans and Fae alike and spits out their bones. Prince Emerald of the dark Unseelie Court has been trained since he was five to kill Emerald. It's his destiny to heal the lands, but what happens when he becomes so allured to her that he can't help but disobey his family and the prophecy.
