I went to another country to continue my medical studies. Forced myself to be someone I was not just to fit in. Tried to forget my past, but it seemed to only increase its speed to catch up with me. I didn't know how to let go of it. I was drowning in my past while trying to move on at the same time. Putting on a mask so no one would know who I truly was and the truth about my dreadful past.
