Description
Shadow is a young tom cat that has just left his parents to live his own life out in the wild... He never got along with his parents or his siblings, and he feels he wants to get as far away as he possibly can from them... Shadow has traveled nearly day to night for about a moon at this point, traveling through hills, mountains, and lots of forest along the way... But as he gets closer and closer, things seem to be happening a lot more different... He begins to meet some cats along the way, and they seem interested in what he is doing... He agrees to let them come with him, though he has no idea where he is going... Tom tom cat continues to follow the setting sun every single day, until one of these days... He finds sand... And as he continues to walk across the sand he eventually finds water... The water seems to go on forever, as he feels like he is now at the edge of the world... The water taste nasty, but he feels safe from any of the wild life, and there is an abundance of food for him to get every where... He and his friends decide to settle down... but as much as Shadow feels like he is safe with his friends... He still has a lot to learn about the world, and about others... Things are lurking in the shadows for Shadow...
