Chapter 1: The Drive

Laura James is at the end of her rope. She might be pregnant, Her mother is potentially dying and sends her on a trip to ask her estranged father in Montana to visit before her big surgery.

There is a darkness lurking in the mountains, craziness in her father and an old local legend that may or may not be true: the legend of the Ice Touch.
