Prologue

In a world ruled by the chaos and pain of its people, a concept like love had faded long ago. Love disappeared in the destruction of society. It was not uncommon to go your whole life without it, and it was a society that had no room for it if one wanted to survive.

So what happens when two unlikely people, who have been burned more times they could count are forced to team up in a world where trust is a rare commodity...? After spending time with each other they are tested to trust each other for the sake of their own survival even though they cannot tolerate the other.
