Chapter I: The Letter

At her estranged father's funeral in Palermo, a city in Sicily, Italy, Sofia Morello uncovers family secrets that lead her directly to the notorious Sicilian mafia boss, Matteo Leonetti. Assumptions about the other's character causes friction between the pair while Sofia and her family live under the Leonetti's roof and protection. In order to truly open up to Matteo, can Sofia release her resentment towards her father that is driving a damaging wedge in her relationships?
