After having your first child (Nadia) your parents throw you to the "wolves" for lack of better words and you've also become the talk of your small town. To get away from everything and everyone you decide to move to hemlock Grove a few hours away. Shortly after arriving you sign up for school and start looking for a job, you managed to find a small apartment and a few pieces of furniture but you still had a ways to go before it felt like home. On your first day at school you meet and befriend Shelley Godfrey who just like you is the talk of the school just because of how she looks. What you don't know is meeting Shelley is what would change you and Nadia's life forever.
