Prologue: The Birth of a Tribe

Khai: A Star Wars Story takes place in 35 ABY on the Planet Kesh. Though believed to be extinct, there are different factions of the legendary Sith. A young Sith apprentice, Vestara Khai serves as the main protagonist and must defend her home from a Jedi outcast, Marn Sheern who survived Kylo Ren's massacre of Luke Skywalker's Jedi temple. However, the Jedi knight is not the only concern for Vestara for she is destined to lead The Lost Tribe of the Sith, and Kesh faces constant attacks from the Hutt Cartel. Vestara is not alone for she has the help of Ship, a long believed extinct Sith Meditation Sphere to guide her along with her father Gavar Khai, and her master Olaris Rhea.
