Prologue: Loss

Even years after his defeat, The Stranger's legacy continues to haunt the people of Earth. Particles of Chrysalis and superhuman drugs litter the streets, and it seems as if humanity is a lost cause. The Protectors still do their work, but with The Stranger gone, is there really any point? But the truth will soon be revealed, for every action, there is a consequence, and although he tried to leave it behind, Noctum's dark past is not done with him yet.
