Wedding night

"Cookie, there is something I need to give you" Kanan said while he kissed my forehead.

He handed me a letter and asked me to read it. I started reading while he held me close to him, initially I didn't understand why but gradually I understood.

"You always asked me who my heart belonged to, well now it's gonna be yours always Avanti" I read the last line to Kanan and started crying.

I sobbed while asking Kanan 'Is it real? Did he just give it to you Kanan?"

Kanan looked at me and hugged me tightly and gave me a forehead kiss. "Cookie, he also gave me this to give it to you." As Kanan completed the sentence, he gave me a locket.
