Adam is a special victim's detective. He love his job so much, because they're able to bring justice to the vitcims. Even though he love his job, it can be quite emotional and difficult, especially when a child is abused or when a school shooting happen. Adam is close to his aunt Gladys. He can talk to her about everything. She basically raised him. Gladys is the queen of the serpent gang. Adam look up to her. He has long wondered if she could be his real mom. He knows that Gladys and Olivia doesn't get along well. As he begins to investigate, dark memories from his childhood catch up with him.
