Obi Lin is a young adult born to a Nigerian mother and a Chinese father, who gained the ability the manipulate water at a planetary level after an encounter with an ancient god of the seven seas while on a holiday trip to the Maldives with his parents to protect mankind from a monstrosity of pure evil, The Behemoth and also be a hero to the people. Hydro isn't just able to bend huge bodies water but also manipulate the weather conditions of an area, extract water from thin air, create weapons out of ice, manipulate the water in plants, can freeze an object at a greater degree than absolute 0, and great healing ability and nigh invulnerability with many undiscovered powers. Obi Lin is also a skilled martial artist, having learnt different fighting skills and techniques in China, Thailand and Japan over the years where he also learned how to use his newly gained powers to help people he loved and cared about.. Obi Lin will go on bearing the name Hydro after saving Tokyo city from a massive tsunami by holding back the huge water body and eventually turning it into a huge wall of ice. For if there's one thing Hydro believes in, it's being a saviour to mankind
