Description
Camilla Von Ascheberg, heir to the throne of Eldorra, feels the weight of the world on her shoulders. The stories her family share force a crippling anxiety to succeed just as much as they have. In order to take the throne and be the best of royalty she can be, Camilla has agreed to only marry someone of royal degree by the time she's 23. She never anticipated the trouble that awaits her. Niko Volkov, intelligent troublemaker. Niko is an entertainer, someone who gets up to mischief even at the expense of others. He's fun, sarcastic and he takes little to nothing serious. Growing up with parents who allow him the freedom to do as much gave him the luxury to do whatever he pleases. But when he goes too far, his mother who's best friends with the queen of Eldorra, comes up with an arrangement and sends him off to work to truly understand how difficult life can be. Camilla and Niko grew up together, as childhood friends. Until the two of them have a falling out and they spend every waking hour terrorising one another. But when Niko is sent to work for her family, they're forced to engage in conversations more than once. It becomes more difficult to ignore the tension they feel when they're placed in on another's presence. What happens when Camilla teaches Niko stability and that maintaining a semblance of balance is important? Will Niko be the one to show Camila that she doesn't have to adhere to all the pressures and expectations she put on herself?
