[Prologue]

Makoto Naegi is a normal high school student who attends Hopes Peak Academy. Oh his first day, he faints and wakes up in a classroom. When he meets some of the other students, a black and white teddy bear named Monokuma announces that they are trapped inside the school with no way out and the only way to escape is to kill somebody and not get caught. He has to deal with the killing game and whether or not he'll be killed or not...But deep down inside...He's the one behind this game of death! Will he live? Will die? Killed or be Killed?
