25-year-old Layton Sherman and Ellie Bernard live a pleasant 3-year relationship until one day, it ends completely when Layton later finds out that his girlfriend is dead from unknown circumstances. To make matters even more bizarre, Layton is able to see her as a ghost for only a certain amount of time. Ellie, who recalls nothing of the incident, begs him to uncover the truth of her downfall and to find out if her death was a mishap or a vicious murder case
