Prologue

She was always too brave for her own good. Even as the world crumbled before her, with the dead taking over, she refused to give up hope of surviving the apocalypse. She searched for anything she could use to survive, all while keeping a watchful eye out for the rotting corpses of the past. As she stumbled into a new world and found herself alone, the world felt hopeless, as if the living were the last of a dying breed.
