This is after season 2 of Sonic Prime.

After Nine goes through the portal, the portals glitch, and he ends up in the studio. He then meets boris and at first is mean and doesn't care about Boris that much but then warms up to boris and decides to help him save his brother from Joey Drew and fix the ink machine. Also, Boris is depressed,has social anxiety and insecurity, and has ADHD and PTSD. Both of them are 12.

The story is kinda close to the storyboards of batim,babtqftim,and batdr.My AU also.
