What started as a nightmare for 19 year old Charlie turned into a strange relationship with her professor and his brother. Her best friend's past coming back to haunt her, she feels lonely, unable to get past the way it ended. Sometimes she wishes that he hadn't been there to save her. Maybe then she wouldn't have so many tears. I wake up in a haze. My mind goes blank. The cold cement floor helps, reminding me where I am. My panic rises. I didn't escape? I blame myself for being so naive. Karla wouldn't have wanted this for me. What have I gotten myself into? How am I supposed to get out of here? What are they planning to do? I'm so cold.
