I am a sucker for Dark Link Zelink etc. so I did this. Link and Zelda were doing some research with Purah experimenting with a mysterious pool of gloom and malice seemingly mixed that didn't disappear after Gannondorf's death. Then the experiment went wrong when the substance latched onto the master sword in the pool creating a duplicate of link that seemed to be made of pure darkness.
