Chapter 1

A single father finds himself a new job and finally gets a well-deserved night out on the town. Sparks fly when he crosses paths with a woman at a bar, and - after a year-plus of forced celibacy - he can't believe his luck when she invites him back to her place. Unfortunately, his dry-spell becomes an embarrassing roadblock he hadn't anticipated. After the awkward ending to their brief and barely one-night fling, he leaves her place and never looks back, praying he'll never have to encounter her again and face his shame. Unfortunately, fate has other plans, and when he arrives on his first day of his new job, he is shocked to discover that not only does his one-night stand work at the same company as him, she's his boss.
