Prologue

When 457, a regular blue-collar soul collector in the Reaper organization, comes to work one day, he's forced by his boss to take on the assignments of another Reaper after he had just gotten back from vacation (the audacity!). He begrudgingly accepts them, but what he can't comprehend is what the day's work has in store for him. What will he discover about the pasts of the souls under his care? Or maybe even about his own?.
