"You remember I said to you last week that I wanted to introduce someone so here she's Merissa, we met last week in a restaurant while having dinner." Matt stopped there without saying anything else and ran his hand through his hair avoiding my gaze.

"Nice to meet you, Merissa..." I said to her.

"Aren't you gonna tell them we are dating! How rude, Matt!" That's how I got greetings back from Merissa haha...
