Part 1: And So It Begins

I submerged into the water at full speed. The prickly feeling started at a bare minimum all over my body. Then it suddenly became unbearable. Small knives stabbing into my sides and my chest. My legs ached to move, but I swam on. Pushing myself, trying to reach the top. Right before I grasped the surface I took in a breath, of pure, salty, ocean water. It filled my lungs and I sunk lower into the deep blue sea and closed my eyes, and decened into darkness....
