Sabeen Hanifa Saad moved to the United States from Lebanon to study to become an interpreter and also to escape her father that pressures her to wear the hjab and get married to a fine businessman.

She moves to Los Angeles not knowing what to expect but only knowing deep inside her soul that her destiny awaits in this country that her family back in Lebanon calls an "occidental" world where women have no morals or ethics, and where men have a volatile word.
