Chapter One

Rose Gilmartin leaves her home in London behind to work at her uncle's inn on the lonely Yorkshire moors. Homesick at first, she befriends her cousin Bess and young Dominic Monaghan, and meets Bess' lover, highwayman Arthur Langley. But when redcoats turn up in the district, things quickly become dangerous. Can Rose protect her friends?
